music and basketball

Are music and sports just like two peas in a pod? Maybe? There are so many things that fall under entertainment that we forget that some things belong together. It is amazing how sports and entertainment are needed together to become greater than ever and one reason they are both where they are today. Basketball and music have been together for a long time and you can always catch an artist referencing balling or ballin’ which could be physical or mental or just the sport itself.

Of course the game of basketball has ticket pricing to satisfy any real fans, but like most other things in life, there is a difference between nosebleed seats and the VIP and courtside seats. Courtside seats are the ones where you could reach out and touch one of the athletes if he or she came to your side of the court. This is one of the reasons that celebrities are often seen courtside at basketball games. They are not there to touch other celebrities, but it is where the celebrities sit. There are probably people who have bought sports event tickets not only to see the event, but also to catch a glimpse of other celebrities. Have you ever heard of the word Goodwill? It is the name of value you have created through familiar acts or works building worth in the name, product, or service.

For example, there are usually celebrity fans such as Denzel Washington and Jack Nicholson who have some priority to courtside. As a fan you don’t know if it is part of an endorsement or just an evening of relaxation. There is an event that is held each year that has both the basketball and music entertainment dress to impress and support. It is the NBA all-star game. Even the likes of the star such as Lebron James and Jay-Z have come together to produce the 2 Kings’ Dinner. It is a fellowship and networking event for business executives, rappers, athletes and even some fashion world noticeable.
